Botel Maastricht made for a wonderful stay. From the moment we stepped aboard, we felt welcomed and looked after. The floating hotel has a peaceful, charming atmosphere that felt unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed. Derrick was a delight, keeping us entertained with his fantastic stories and adventures about the Canadian Geese. His warmth and humor made the visit even more memorable. Yanina and Johanna at reception went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel at home right away. Everything was spot on, and the team made our time unforgettable. We’d give it more than 10 out of 10 if we could. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back! 🚤✨

The location is amazing, the shared amenities are really cozy, and the staff are great. But the toilets make a horrendous noise that wakes you up instantly.

The view and location are both really good. Comfort is lacking a bit, so I’d say it works best for a short visit.

The place was clean and the service was really great. Best part, though, was being so close to the center of Maastricht, and sitting on deck with a beer was a great experience. The rooms feel like prison cells, and the toilet was a long way off.

The location made getting into town easy, just a short walk, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. The twin cabin was extremely cramped, with two bunk beds. On our floor, the shared setup of two showers and two toilets wasn’t enough for the estimated 20-plus guests. It was also quite a trek down the corridor from our cabin.
