The location made getting around easy, with shops nearby and everything within walking distance. We loved our room too: it was new, spacious, beautifully furnished and spotless. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, and the small treats at check-in and check-out were a lovely touch. Our five-year-old son felt completely at ease. We were very impressed and will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Everything felt carefully finished, from the building materials to the decor. The rooms are brand new with really nice styling and high-quality materials. It feels like a true five-star hotel, with care put into every detail.

As a receptionist, I can say this hotel deserves more than five stars. We had a wonderful experience, with great hospitality, friendly staff and excellent service. We’re very grateful to Hotel Maison for making our special day unforgettable.

The beds were awful. There’s a plastic sheet under the top sheet, with no padding, so it feels and sounds like sleeping on a plastic garbage bag. It smells like a diaper, gets too hot and leaves you damp with moisture. I told the manager, but instead of understanding she argued with me. She asked, “what do you want” again, as if I had to work out her job for her. Only hospitals make beds this way, and it’s a horrible idea. For the whole five-day stay, the internet didn’t work, and I fell behind on work. The fire alarm also went off twice while I was asleep. One of those times was at 4:30 am, and I couldn’t get back to sleep, which ruined my day. The manager wouldn’t take responsibility. She asked if I “wanted” something in return, but when I said figuring that out was her job, she offered neither compensation nor a refund. The staff were all quite nice and friendly, but I found the manager’s handling of all the hotel’s problems completely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need to work, sleep, or use the internet.
