The rooms were spacious and clean, with a wonderful view, and the castle itself is magnificent. Our first day included a very good Year Sales Event: the rooms were equipped, and the spaces were tailored to what the customer needed. The coffee lounge had plenty of room and drinks available throughout the meetings, and the restrooms were clean and tidy. Then came our Company Xmas Party at the Castle, and it was amazing. Around 70 of us, including many people from abroad, filled the Ballroom, and they simply loved it. Everything was impeccable. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the food was magnificent, and congratulations to the Chef. We were the first to try the Famous Xmas Menu 2025. The fresh ingredients, presentation, and rich flavours made every dish delightful. The waiters kept checking that we had what we needed, and the food arrived hot, which mattered a lot to me as the event organiser. Everything was plentiful and high quality, and I’m very happy with how perfectly the party went. We hired Podium Vier to add some sparkle. They did a great job, and singer Leonardo Davintage was a great entertainer with a nice voice. People sang, danced, laughed, and had fun. The Happy Snap photobooth was fun too. I bought photo props, and everyone enjoyed them. The after party in the Lounge/Bar, with snacks and drinks, was cheerful. On the second day, dinner was in the Fumoir with a smaller group. It felt cosier and more intimate, so people could talk more easily, and the Hotel had Christmas lounge music playing in the background. People rated the whole experience highly. Anyone who enjoys these spaces won’t regret it. The Xmas menu is lovely, and so are the people. Merry Xmas, and blessed times with your family.

The only thing I didn’t like was the artwork in the room. It scared me. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were clean, and the room was well put together with all the amenities. The restaurant was nice, too. Reception was very pleasant, check-in was easy, and parking was included in a large, clean, safe lot that was easy to use. 10/10. Thank you.

It was a real disappointment. The high price and exterior photos had me expecting a classic luxury hotel, but it felt like mediocre three-star quality and nothing about it was luxurious. The breakfast restaurant had the look of a school canteen.

We had a wonderful Christmas party and very good meetings at Vaeshartelt. Outstanding location. Highly recommended for a stay, and thanks to the team.
