The room is small, but it has everything needed, and breakfast is excellent. The owner is kind and friendly, and dogs are welcome too. It’s a peaceful place for walking or sailing, with plenty of dogs and cats around. There are two fried-fish stalls, and the beach and impressive yacht marina are 2.5 km from the centre. I highly recommend it.

Yvonne, the owner, was so kind and friendly. When KLM lost my luggage at Schipol and I had a wedding the next day, she pressed the new shirt I’d bought and saved the day. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, an immaculate bathroom, and a great hot shower. Breakfast was very good too. The B&B is about a five-minute walk from the village centre, where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. I highly recommend staying here.

We’d happily recommend De Schans. The room may be small, but it’s clean, as is the bathroom, which has modern tiles. The internet is fast, and the TV has Netflix and YouTube, so they’re keeping up with the times. Dogs are welcome. Parking is just around the corner, and the harbor or market square is a three-minute walk away. Breakfast is served with care in a garden gazebo: different breads and warm rolls, cheese, sausage, and jam, with eggs, cake, or quark on some days. There’s enough variety to set you up for the day. Five stars, small but lovely. Thank you!

The room is too small to share with other guests, including at breakfast. What happens when it rains? A hotel room gives you more comfort and space for the same price.

We stayed for two nights. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was good. In a word, perfect. For the motorcyclists.
