ApartHotel Waepen van Middelburg

It’s a short walk to shops, restaurants, museums, the market square, and the lovely old church and buildings. The scenic harbor is nearby too, as are the bus and train stations. The apartment was a pleasant surprise: really spacious, stylishly furnished, and equipped with everything you’d need for self-catering, including a well-stocked kitchen.

Jaqueline, the host, was very welcoming, and my room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was good too. I was in Middleburg for work, and this is a perfect place for a short or medium-length stay. Absolutely recommended.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a good bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. We reached our first-floor room by a steep staircase, which may not suit everyone. The owners are planning to add a lift in due course. We arrived after office hours, but the manager arranged access to our room. The owners are friendly and happy to share information. For example, they suggested hiring e-bikes from the station. A really good place, and we’d gladly stay again.

The hostess is cheerful, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and had all the essentials, with books and games to help pass the time. There’s also a lovely little backyard. It’s close to both the train station and the markets. No need to think twice, just book it!
