Lovely site with nice cabins, a great playground and walking trails. A great place to stay.

The outdoor areas around the park were a highlight, with lots of lovely walks. We’re used to plenty of forest back home. Getting around was easy on foot, by bike or by car. We walked, and the nearest train station was just over a kilometre away, with easy trips to Rotterdam, The Hague, Gouda and Utrecht. We stayed June 16-24, 2025, four friends in a house for five, and were pretty blown away. It was clean, much larger than the pictures suggested, and had all the things you’d have at home. Our house also had two WCs, which was nice. Reception made us feel very welcome at check-in. We paid a €75 deposit for an extra set of keys, which was later returned to our bank account since they couldn’t refund it in cash. All in all, a 5/5 vacation, and we’ll certainly rent here again if we’re holidaying near Rotterdam.

The restaurant was out of this world, with impeccable service from really friendly people. A perfect place to spend your holidays.

Gouda and Rotterdam are close enough for a trip, and the setting itself is lovely, surrounded by canals and nature. The modern house was in good condition, and the beds and bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. There’s a lot of water around, so fly screens on the windows would help keep insects, especially mosquitoes, out. Also, the walls were very bright, and morning traffic noise came through into the bedroom.
