Landal De Waufsberg

Friends gave us a week here for free, and at that price it was great. The house and location were both very nice. For the regular price, though, I’d expect more: there were almost no facilities at the park, no pool or sports centre, just a playground and restaurant.

The house was cosy for our group of six at Christmas, with a bath, sauna, and a nice gas fireplace that was easy to use and didn't make the house smell. The park is a little out of the way, but still close to tourist attractions.

There’s plenty in the house: TV, fridge, radio/CD/Bluetooth, oven, dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, a gas fireplace, and a sauna. But be prepared to bring or order everything well in advance, including bath and kitchen towels, dish and dishwasher supplies, washing powder, and extra toilet paper for a big group. The solarium has no protective glasses, so using it is dangerous for your eyes. The heating switches off automatically at night, and it’s cold in the morning.

A quiet, small holiday park that’s a nice place to relax. There aren’t many facilities, and the store was a bit short on things and had very limited opening hours.
