There was a lovely terrace and a separate room up on the top floor, and the sea is just around the corner. We had to tackle the Dutch stairs to get to the studio, of course, haha. A tasty little bottle of wine was waiting as a welcome gift.

We had a lovely holiday even with rain through much of the week. The apartment is charming and has everything you need, and Martine takes good care of guests without being intrusive. Both the beach and the little pedestrian zone are an easy walk away. We’d recommend the bus trip to The Hague, just €10 return for two people, and you can pay by debit card on board. One place we’d skip is Salt on Queen Astrid Boulevard. It’s overpriced and the food wasn’t particularly good.

The rooftop terrace has a great view over part of Noordwijk, and the bed is large and really comfortable. This lovely studio is ideally placed near both the town center and the beach, with a supermarket just around the corner and affordable parking within walking distance. The service was excellent too. I’ll definitely come back for a few beach days. Give it a look!
