The snack bar food and drinks were superb, and the staff were super friendly and happy to speak English. We booked through Eurocamp and found the campsite lovely and clean, with around 250 pitches, ideal for families. The small supermarket has the basics, and the bakery has fantastic options for breakfast. The location is fab. The weather was pretty awful, but we still made the most of our time with trips to Leiden, Gouda, Amsterdam, the coast, and nearby villages. Try the Gouda Cheese Experience. We were there during Children's half term, and the site got very busy in the latter half of the week because of the Ascension day Public Holiday. Thanks, everyone!

There isn't much right around the campsite, and it is on the pricier side. Still, it’s good value for families, and we recommend it for a stay with kids. The site is very clean, with a great kids program, a big swimmingpool, a nice store, and friendly staff.

We used the site as a base for Utrecht, Leiden, and the coast, all easy to get to by bus. There are four buses an hour in each direction, and the stops are about 700 away. The campsite is compact enough to get around on foot, but there’s still plenty of personal space and privacy. We’d definitely recommend it as a holiday camp or a base. My friend and I stayed for five days in mid-May in a 4 man bungalow, with a twin room each. It had a fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, kettle, coffee machine, large sitting area with table, a pleasant bathroom, and a separate WC. There’s everything you need for a holiday on site: restaurant, snack bar, bar, Coffee Automat in reception, well stocked supermarket, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, outdoor exercise machines by a small lake, and a nice indoor playground with table tennis, pool, climbing, and more. All free. The personnel were very friendly and spoke perfect English and German, as well as Dutch, and probably other languages too. Thanks very much 👍🏻 💜

Hiring bikes at reception was our favourite part. The cycle paths are so well maintained, and it’s worth following one into the sand dunes. We also visited Leiden, Amsterdam, and Delft, all within easy driving range, and the beach, though it was very windy. Our kids, aged 5 and 10, loved the pool, games, and playground, with lots here for children to do. This is a lovely, modern, well run campsite. We booked through Eurocamp in the uk, who run the site with another company. We stayed in one of the small chalets. It’s basic but functional, and we were impressed to have our own gas bbq. The main reception has lovely food, and the shop sells freshly baked Croissant each morning, but get there quickly before they sell out! I’d recommend it for families with younger children.
