We really enjoyed being a little away from the busy centre. Last week, my husband, our 2.5-year-old and I met my brother and his wife in Amsterdam, and we stayed at this lovely cottage belonging to Harry and Chantel. They made us feel very welcome. The cottage is small but thoughtfully designed, with beautiful scenery all around. We woke to birds and frogs, learned a bit about the farm, and made use of the trampolines and hammock. There are different outdoor spots for cooking and eating, and sunrise and sunset were majestic. Getting to the nearest station by bike was easy and beautiful, about 10 minutes. From there you can take a train to Centraal if you don't want to cycle in the busy city. You can also bike to Centraal in 30-40 minutes, taking the free ferry along the way. It was an excellent experience, and we'd highly recommend it.

A tiny cottage, but being surrounded by nature made us feel so relaxed. The owners let us use their bicycles, which made getting around easy. One of the best experiences I've had in my life!

Harry and Chantel were so helpful and wonderful to deal with. Their cozy place is close to Amsterdam, and you get to experience the real Netherlands. Definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay in the lovely countryside, so close to Amsterdam. Chantel and Harry are the best hosts. We'll be back! Margaret, Aleksandra & Greg
