Breakfast was great, and the price seemed fair by the city's standards. The hosts were great, too, in a very cool house. It's a bit of a walk into town, but there's a train stop nearby. Our room was on the top floor, up some tight, curving stairs, so getting luggage up could be a problem. It had a private shower, a couch, and a mattress on the floor.

A friendly, clean B&B, and the staff were very helpful with questions. Internet is included in the room price, but breakfast costs extra. Parking outside is quite expensive at 14.4€ per day. The hotel is close to a tram stop, so getting to the city centre is easy.

The neighbourhood is lovely to look at and well connected to the city centre by frequent trams and buses. We stayed for the weekend in a twin room with street views on the 1st floor. It had an ensuite private shower, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast included. The hosts were wonderful, easygoing, accommodating, spoke several languages, and were always ready to help. We could come and go whenever we wanted, thanks to the key set's street-level key for 24-hour building access. Breakfast was hearty: yoghurt with fruit and granola, wholemeal and rye bread, eggs cooked to order, freshly squeezed OJ, excellent coffee with cream, and croissant and/or halibut served with roast pear and cheese. I'd definitely consider staying again on a return visit to Amsterdam.
