Linden Hotel

Davide and everyone at the Linden made us feel so welcome and looked after us throughout the stay. When we mentioned we'd eloped, they even put together a sweet bouquet and left us gifts, which made the day feel extra special 🥰. The neighborhood was lovely too, with canals, interesting shops, and plenty of bars and restaurants close by. We felt safe walking around at night, and it was easy to get around on foot. Thanks to the Linden staff for such a cozy, welcoming time in Amsterdam.

The bathroom layout was uncomfortable to use, which was the one real drawback. Still, I’d definitely recommend this lovely boutique hotel in a quiet, high-end neighborhood. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. There’s no breakfast, but they have nice treats, and the coffee machine is always ready.

Our room was a little small, but it didn’t bother us. The place itself was lovely, and the staff were just as nice. The location was good, with clean, quiet streets compared with other Amsterdam neighborhoods. At checkout they gave us a goodie bag, which was a lovely surprise!

The superior double room was laid out really well and felt much roomier than we expected. My husband is tall and we had plenty of luggage, so we’d worried that the “tiny living” setup might be an issue, but the room worked perfectly and was very comfortable. The staff were wonderful too. They welcomed us with a little bag of gummy candy, then brought up champagne when they found out we’d just gotten married and were on our honeymoon. Such a sweet gesture. The location was great, and we’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam.
