The room was pleasant and quiet, and breakfast was simple but good. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for watching the sunset. The hotel is on a fruit farm with animals and trails to explore. We had trouble with the air conditioner, and the issue never got resolved, but we made the best of it.

The bathroom had no actual door, which I just don’t understand. If you’re fine with everyone else in the room seeing or hearing what goes on, you can ignore this review.

Very clean rooms, tasty breakfasts, and friendly service. It’s a fantastic place to relax, and I recommend it.

The menu at the restaurant is on the small side, though there’s enough to choose from. The kitchen could use practice cooking steaks rare, medium, well done, and everything in between. Jip especially deserves a mention, nice service and nice to watch. The hotel is clean and tidy, with open, nicely decorated rooms that feel a little small. The wellness area is on the small side too.

I’ve stayed in hotels regularly as a visitor to NL, and I used to inspect large chain hotels in London, so that’s the experience behind my verdict. Everything was perfect for us. The room was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped, and the spa was wonderful, with a proper steam room, an excellent sauna, and a clean pool. Zoe at reception was extremely helpful when we arrived, and the senior lady manager was superb. What a romantic, wonderful place. I’d love for this hotel to become my second home. Thank you all, Dino & Mariana
