Belle and Zorro, the friendly goats, were our closest neighbours while we camped among the apple trees in the orchard. The site is such a pretty little haven of calm after busy Amsterdam, only about half an hour away on bus line 305. It’s very well placed, and the bus stop is a 12-minute walk. Marije, who owns the site, is lovely and happy to answer questions. We absolutely loved it and recommend coming.

We loved that this felt like a classic campsite, mainly set up for tents, though there is room for motor homes too. The setting and location are beautiful, and we got a friendly welcome. Facilities were clean, with free hot showers and water, and breakfast is available at a very reasonable price. The nearby motorway is noisy, but I didn't take a star off for that. After a while you stop noticing it. Light sleepers might want earplugs.

We spent one night here at the end of August and pitched our tent beneath a plum tree loaded with ripe fruit. The campground was very pleasant, and the toilet and shower were clean. We were also able to charge our phones near the showers.

A great place for an overnight stop, with everything you need. There’s only a toilet waste facility. The owner is super friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer!
