That signature scent hits you as soon as you walk in, and it’s so pleasant and calming. We spent three nights here, a one-of-a-kind stay. Our cozy room under the roof was comfortable and beautifully designed, with lovely attention to detail. It felt warm and inviting, easy to settle in straight away. We really enjoyed the in-house café. The coffee was excellent, and the bread with scrambled eggs and Parmesan was outstanding. There’s also a carefully chosen selection of fragrances, books and mugs for sale, which adds to the charm. The owner and whole team were warm, welcoming and genuinely caring. You can feel how much they care about this hotel. We’ll definitely come back, and next time plan to book one of the incredible rooms with a bathtub. Highly recommended.

It’s a real gem in the heart of Rotterdam, with restaurants, shops and cultural eye candies all around. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere that you just want to stay inside and enjoy the moment. We had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and always helpful in making the visit memorable.

The service is what made this visit so good. The staff were warm and attentive, and made me feel welcome as soon as I came in. Hotel Ame surprised me in the best way. I had the toast with eggs and it was honestly delicious. I also tried matcha for the first time. Not really my thing, but that’s just personal taste. TourGuys recommend! They knocked while we were packing, I said so, and staff came into the room anyway and started shouting. Completely unacceptable. The service was terrible and the staff aggressive. At checkout, they tried to charge €250 for smoking in the room, which never happened. We smoked on the terrace, where there were no “no smoking” signs. The staff member raised her voice, acted aggressively and wouldn’t listen. It felt like pure pressure to get money out of guests. I left extremely disappointed. Avoid.

The rooms are spacious, done in a zen style, and have excellent beds. The whole place has a calming feel, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Thanks Jasmien for the welcome note 😀. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh, quality products. The location is very good, close to city highlights. We’d definitely come back.
