Metropolitan Hotel Rotterdam

In April 2025, I rented an apartment at Eintrachtweg 71 through Rotterdam Apartments. The landlord was Daniel J. of Metropolitan Suits. From the first day, the apartment was uninhabitable. The furniture smelled so strongly that it irritated my skin and eyes, and hygiene was unacceptable. The floors were sticky and dirty, the walls were damaged, and basic things like a wardrobe and trash bin were missing. The coffee machine was broken, the lamps didn't work, and the shower was blocked. I complained repeatedly, but nothing was repaired. The landlord's only “solution” was to spray deodorant on the smelly furniture. He even entered the apartment while I was away, without permission, to do that. Because of these conditions, I arranged to end the contract early. The landlord then locked me out, although I'd already paid rent for both the current and following month, and falsely said I hadn't paid any rent. I had to call the police and a locksmith to get my belongings back. He has also refused to return my deposit and threatened me by phone. Rotterdam Apartments handled things correctly and tried to help, to be fair. I still don't understand how such a professional agency can work with Daniel J., who treated tenants so disrespectfully and unacceptably. Stay away from Metropolitan Suits / Daniel Jurisich. The apartment conditions were terrible, and the landlord was aggressive and unprofessional. Absolutely not recommended.
