Room Mate Bruno, Rotterdam

We had an easy time getting around from the hotel, and the location was perfect for the festival we came to see. The food hall downstairs was a big plus, with so many places to eat and no stress about choosing. The entrance lobby looked stunning too. Staff were welcoming and helpful from the start. Our room had a bath, which was great for unwinding, and the modern, stylish space had comfortable beds, good temperature control, and plenty of room for two. We loved our stay at Room Mate Bruno and would come back without hesitation.

The hotel has lots of cozy spots to sit with a book or coffee, and the front desk offers complimentary mini pain au chocolait. We also met Thalia, the hotel manager, at checkout. She asked how things had gone and offered to store our bags when she saw we were heading to the Photo-museum. The whole team helped us feel welcome and looked after. This was my first stay at Room Mate Bruno, and after comparing other hotels and apartments, it was clearly the best choice for a mini-break. It was good value, easy to reach by public transport, and within walking distance of nice tourist spots. Dimitri greeted us warmly and quickly, and there was a handwritten welcome note and chocolate waiting in the room. The space was clean and roomy, the bed was delicious, and I had the best rest I've had in a hotel. We enjoyed the lovely balcony view and sunset with a glass of wine. Staff were helpful throughout. When we couldn't access the movies on the TV one night, the desk rebooted it remotely within minutes and offered us a free movie for the hassle. Breakfast was another hit. For a small extra fee, we had it in bed. Francesca, I think that was her name, brought it with a big good morning smile and explained everything. It was all delicious, even the sunny side up was plated like a smiley. We'll definitely stay again when we're back in Rotterdam, and recommend it to friends coming for work or tourism.

The clean, spacious room was comfortable and had a stylish, modern design. Breakfast was excellent too. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made everything feel easy from the start. I had a great stay at Room Mate Bruno and would definitely recommend it.
