The room was clean, with a large bathroom, beautiful fabrics, and an amazing view from the window. The hotel is very central and quiet, and it's great value for the cost. There isn't staff at reception, but the system works. The gym and luggage storage are at the Duke hotel, about 5 minutes away.

The location was great, near a park where you can run or stroll, and a little away from the city center. My room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and huge bathroom. I didn't see staff during my three nights, but everything seemed to work as it should. You need a card to go up in the elevator, which felt reassuring. The only questionable thing was that there was no bin in the room or in the kitchenette down the hall.

I had a restless two-night stay, with guests making a lot of noise as they came back from nights out around 2am. The cheapest room was booked for me, and it was clean and sorted out during the day, but the hotel felt like an apartment and quite anonymous. I have no choice about where I stay. I've also stayed at the Little Duke, which is just as anonymous but near the train station and has a Café next door for breakfast. It was difficult to log in, though help was available by phone. As a visitor from the UK, having no WiFi was frustrating and expensive. The communal kitchen on the same floor didn't feel like a place where I could safely leave my drinks overnight. Breakfast costs extra, and is at the Duke hotel opposite, near the Cathedral. With breakfast, expect it to come to €200 a night. The room itself was a very expensive bed for a couple of nights, with a very big bathroom and a single bed for €160 a night, if you're lucky. I expect prices rise as usual. I wandered into the Sence Restaurant and was politely told to go away. So much for 5 star treatment. They said they don't offer breakfast and there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so I took that advice and didn't book a table at the Michelin star restaurant. I checked the menu, which looks great, but not with service that snooty. Better to walk around and discover the Dutch vibe. There's a fantastic museum next door during the day. Den Bosch is a fantastic city to visit, but this hotel is just an apartment. If that suits you, so be it. I had no choice, and the cheapest room was booked for me. In the UK, more can be said.

We slept really well. The bed was super comfy, and it was quiet at night. The rooms were clean and very spacious, right in the city center. Check-in and checkout were easy to do ourselves, and we enjoyed our stay.
