The plumbing reminded me of an airplane WC, as others have said, but that was a minor issue. The room was very quiet and I slept comfortably. Being able to wake up and walk to the gate was much easier than coming from somewhere outside, worrying about transport, and dragging my bags around.

The booking was easy. We just went to reception and paid for a cabin, but it cost 120€ for four hours. There’s barely room to move around the bed, about 30cm or so. With a backpack and two trolleys, you’d be stuck with no space. The toilet and shower were clean, but very noisy, like an airplane toilet. We’d been connecting from Jakarta to Düsseldorf through Amsterdam after an 11-hour flight, then got stuck at Schiphol because of an eight-hour delay. We wanted somewhere to stretch our legs. The room’s controls didn’t work, and when we called, they said someone would come shortly. Nobody ever did.

Amir at the front desk was something else. He was kind and professional, and tried every possible way to help our family. Five stars for Amir, maybe Ameer.

The location was the only good thing. Customer service was horrible. A frustrated, middle-aged European person was sitting at the front.
