The owner's a pleasure to deal with, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying our short stay, even though the place's first impression reminded me not to judge a book by its cover. It's a cozy, gezellig inn with clean, comfortable beds and a great Dutch style breakfast: warm rolls, croissants, plenty of meats, cheese, jams, coffee, and tea. The rustic living room and separate eating area have so many things to look at over a nice drink. I'd go back.

The owner and staff were so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed staying here, especially the simple breakfast and fresh orange juice each morning. We'd love to come back and try their food too :)

The rooms are on the small side, but nice, and the owner and staff were very kind and welcoming. It's hard to find a cozier, more central place to stay in Schoorl. The beds were too soft for me, though.

The room was spotless, nicely designed, and had everything we needed plus a bit more. A great place to relax. The owner was very friendly and stayed up for us despite our late arrival, and even our dog got a fluffy sleeping mat. The downside was the cold. It was November, but the heating barely warmed the room, and cold air blew through the gaps by the balcony. Dutch people are probably more used to it than Belarusians and Russians :)

We enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and we slept well. The staircase creaked a lot, which gave it character. The surroundings were lovely. 6.mai 2024.
