Gr8 Hotel Sevenum

The parking is a real problem. There's room for only about 20 cars, which isn't enough when the hotel is full, as it was during a nearby festival. Getting back at 2 AM meant parking in the dark, dodgy KFC lot. Not great, especially for this price. The hotel itself is average. The beds are much too soft, though after walking around a festival all day, that didn't matter much.

The rooms are amazing, and the staff I've met have been nice and kind. I stay in hotels a lot for work, and come here sometimes. There's not much around except for one restaurant, so it gets pretty boring. There's no bar, and although you can get drinks at the hotel, I wouldn't recommend it since there's no bar. Check-in is all self-service, so you barely speak to staff. The TVs are the letdown. There's no Chromecast, only a screen-mirroring system that lags and barely works, making it basically unusable.

We stayed one night in a family room, which worked well with the kids since they can have a room of their own. You don't find that everywhere. The room was modern, nice and clean, and had a small kettle for tea or instant coffee. The staff were friendly. I didn't like that the toilet door had no lock, and the shower room didn't feel very private.

The rooms are bright and spotless, and everyone is so friendly. This is my second visit this year.
