Even with just one night at Boutique Hotel Slenaker Vallei, the service made me feel well looked after, and I’d happily return when I’m back in South Limburg. The staff were warm and welcoming, my room was spotless and had a lovely view, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. A wonderful stay in Slenaken 🌿

This quiet, scenic spot in the Limburg hills is lovely for hiking, cycling, or just unwinding. Hotel Slenaker Vallei is a charming boutique hotel in an 1882 farmhouse, right in the heart of the Gulp Valley. Its rooms feel cozy and elegant, breakfast is fresh and local, and the restaurant serves excellent regional food. Maastricht, Valkenburg, Aachen, and Liège are all a short drive away.

Dinner was a real treat, with well-balanced flavors and excellent dishes. They have menus with wine pairings, plus specific wine suggestions for each dish. Asparagus is their specialty, though there are other options too. We stayed in the larger hotel rooms, which were spacious, as were the bathrooms. The shower cabin felt a little cramped, and the beds slide apart from each other, but the overall impression was definitely good. We were very happy with our stay.
