This place deserves negative stars. I’ve never had an experience like it. Food arrived cold, some people got the wrong dishes, and some meals weren't cooked properly. The cooks seemed very inexperienced. Service was just as bad: the waiters were slow, seemed confused about what they should be doing, and at times appeared not to hear us. I watched other tables repeatedly say their orders were wrong, but the dishes were served anyway. Then staff firmly asked us not to order too many different types of food, suggesting we limit ourselves to four, such as pancakes, soup, eggs and grilled cheese. Even making that request was incredibly rude. It says a lot about how incompetent the whole operation is. Avoid this place at all costs if you want to keep your sanity.

The drinks and atmosphere are top-notch, though the food is only okay. It's a lovely restaurant with a very kid-friendly play area, so you can enjoy a drink or meal while keeping an eye on your child. It was just right for us on a day trip to Sluis. The ratings seem fair.

They have a good location and terrace, which makes it a shame to say I'll never go back. We waited almost two hours for a waffle, and it was awful, nearly half burnt and bitter, like rotten fruit. I told a waiter, who tried a piece and, of course, defended it as good. I went home feeling sick. It used to be good, but now it's very bad.

Disrespectful ✋️ The old man told us we had to wait for him to give us a table, even though lots of tables were empty. We waited while people came and went, and he was busy walking around with the payment machine, seeing at least four tables. Three customers took tables through him while we were still waiting. No wonder the rating is so low.
