We had a comfortable stay at this 4-star spa hotel. The staff were consistently welcoming and cheerful, and the heated pool and sauna were clean and well kept. Our spacious, well-maintained room felt more like a luxury suite. Parking was complimentary and easy, with plenty of space. They also changed our booking date without charging extra, which we appreciated. One thing to check before you go is the location and nearby dining options, since the restaurants close by 10pm. I’d recommend the hotel for a relaxing, stress-free getaway.

The decor is high quality, and the restaurant food was excellent. It was very busy on both occasions we were there. The location is handy, just off the E26 and on the edge of the natural park.

We had two lovely dinners, with a menu that offers a range of choices. The bakery cakes go perfectly with coffee, and we recommend the Drentse Zwerfkei ;-) The modern rooms are spacious, and the hotel sits in a beautiful area with lots of walking and cycling options.

Breakfast was excellent, with more choice than I’m used to, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and fairly modern. We paid a little extra, so perhaps ours was a newer room. We chose a room facing the forest. That mostly meant we weren’t on the highway side, which is only 100 meters from the hotel. I’m not sure whether a room on that side would be noisy. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful.
