For €48, my single room was extremely clean, and so were the shared toilets and showers. The staff were friendly and we had a good laugh. I'm not sure why people expect a five-star hotel when the price is so fair. I didn't try breakfast, so can't comment on it. Five stars for that beautiful smoking room. If you're fit, be glad you can manage the stairs.

The shared bathrooms had been recently remodeled and were lovely and very clean. Our rooms were small, but tastefully decorated and spotless, and some look out over the sea. The place is right in the center of ternuezen, with shops and restaurants easy to reach on foot. Everyone we met on staff was friendly and pleasant. We came here after leaving a miserable place in nearby Hoek. The man working in the cafe was kind and helpful, showed us around, and let us choose between two rooms. It was decorated with amazing Halloween decorations while we were there, a fun surprise. The owner said she decorates for all the holidays, so Christmas would probably be lovely too. The cafe's coffee is great and the beer is inexpensive. I'd highly recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for a wonderful place in the heart of ternuezen.

It felt like a home away from home, and I don't say that lightly. Great accommodation at unbeatable prices, with a shower room on every floor and an amazing power shower. Mell and Jeff are lovely people. There was a harbour festival last weekend, so it was busy. The last weekend in June is always good for that. Wow, those Dutch can party till 4 am.
