The location is the one thing I still like about this hotel. I used to think it was great, but this stay was a letdown. Breakfast has gone downhill too: the trays were empty, hot food was cold, and there was less choice than before. The changed breakfast hours were one reason I booked, so that was frustrating. The room felt freezing when I arrived, just 12°C, because the heating was off. I couldn't get it to 20°C until the third day, and when I mentioned it, all they offered was another blanket. The room itself also seems to have deteriorated a lot in just a year. WiFi coverage and speed were poor, and the new sign-in page was even worse, making it impossible to use my own router. I booked about six months ahead, but ended up paying considerably more than people booking a few weeks earlier or even on check-in day. When I asked about that and added another night, they tried more than once to charge me above the rate shown in their own app. On arrival, they also had trouble finding my extra booking. Their late checkout policy is still ridiculous. You can't ask until close to checkout, so you have to pack and be ready to leave in case they say no. There goes a lazy morning, and they charged me €30 for it. I think Ibis hotels across Europe have been going downhill in recent years, seemingly trying to find the lowest standard people will tolerate before complaining.

The staff were warm and friendly, and I felt comfortable throughout my visit. Getting around was easy since the hotel is right in the city center, with the main shopping streets, restaurants, and other places to eat all within walking distance. I had a really pleasant stay, would recommend it, and would happily come back. Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

At €120 a night, this felt like hostel quality. I've stayed at other ibis hotels and had good experiences, but this one was really bad. The room stayed too warm to sleep in, even with the window open. The mattresses were very hard and the pillows very soft. Workers started repairs in the hotel's backyard at 08.00 with loud music, and the rooms weren't cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast runs until 11.00, but they stop replenishing the buffet after 10.00. Service was poor too. The staff seemed indifferent and rude, and I didn't know whether the receptionist at checkout was bored or stoned. I'd pay €30 more for a proper hotel.

We enjoyed our three days at this Ibis. It was comfortable and easy to get around from. Since we visited on cold days, a more substantial hot vegetarian or vegan breakfast option would've been welcome. We would've been glad to pay for breakfast during our stay if that had been better thought out.

The service made our lovely stay especially nice. Denzel at reception was so kind to us and did a great job. Thanks to everyone for making our vacation amazing. Everything felt perfect, and we'll definitely come back.
