We loved our stay. The rooms were clean, roomy, and nice, and the reception staff were very friendly. It’s handy if you’re travelling by car, with plenty of free parking spaces nearby and EV chargers. The hotel isn’t in the city center, and coffee and tea are free.

The room was spacious and quiet, with really comfortable beds. We didn’t get a chance to sit down for the buffet breakfast, but it looked great. The receptionist gave us a very welcoming greeting.

The service and room quality were nowhere near what I’d expect for 270 euros. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly: there was dust, it hadn’t been vacuumed, the shower drain was blocked, and the towels smelled musty. They had cute Rituals products, but that felt like a poor attempt to dress the place up as “luxury.” The hotel should be ashamed. Check-in dragged on, and the woman at reception argued with a customer. When I left, checking out was also a problem because of the deposit refund. A mockery, and completely unprofessional. They told us check-in was at 9 a.m. but said we had to check out at 5 p.m. How long is a hotel day supposed to be? Apparently half a day, which makes no sense. It seems like a way to get another booking sooner and earn twice. I can overlook a lot, but this place needs more than one note. I don’t recommend it. I’m also surprised it’s rated above four stars. When I worked at a three-star hotel, our standards were higher.

The room was modern, tidy, and comfortable, and there’s free parking in Den Haag. Water pressure could’ve been better. Breakfast costs €17.50 per person, but the quality was good, with fresh-pressed orange juice, salmon, and dumplings. I’d recommend it.

We found a fair rate for a hotel with parking near Leidschendam. When we arrived, they upgraded us to a suite for free 😍. We had a wonderful stay.
