Alberdina and Jan made the stay especially welcoming. They were happy to help, knew a lot about Urk and its history, and were easy to ask for things. The rooms were clean, a decent size, and had their own bathroom. The place mixes old character with modern comfort, and it’s a handy base for Urk and the surrounding area. I stayed two days in March 2019 and would gladly return. Breakfast was simple but did the job: a box with traditional pastry, butter, ham, and cheese. The soundproofing isn’t great, so you may hear other guests if they’re noisy. It is a home, after all. Thanks to the hosts, and see you next time.

For me, Urk’s best B&B is probably this one.
