The room was really spacious, and the hotel had exactly the style I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. I’d definitely stay here again.

The old-fashioned look has a lot of charm, and our room was very clean and spacious. We ran into a few small problems, but the service was good and they sorted them out quickly. Breakfast was quite good too. Some nights can be noisy. We were unlucky on the first one because other guests were really loud, though it was mostly fine afterward. I’d still bring earplugs: you can hear the dome, cars going through the alley, and sometimes people laughing or shouting. All in all, it was a pleasure, and I’d recommend it.

We paid around €200 for one night in a double room, and it wasn’t worth it. The location is ideal for a city tour, and the room is large, but having the bathroom right beside the bed takes some getting used to. The room wasn’t clean. The windows looked as if they hadn’t been washed in a very long time, and the elevator crawled. Food was average quality and unseasoned. The hotel breakfast had no choice and wasn’t to our taste; the music was much too loud as well. The staff were nice and hardworking, but seemed unprofessional, with things handled deliberately rather than skillfully. Most unacceptable was someone suddenly opening our door and looking in without knocking. There was no apology, even after we complained at reception. I can’t recommend the hotel.

The street gets a little noisy since it’s busy, but they provide earplugs. Our room was clean and lovely, with a high ceiling, and the staff were super nice. I’d definitely come back.
