Britta made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the sustainable idea, and watching the chickens make their daily escape attempts was funny. The cabin is handy for Valkenswaard, with buses across the region, walks and bike rides nearby, and a supermarket five minutes away on foot. We stayed at B&B Bij de Appelhof before Christmas, when the lights and tree made it feel festive. We expected to be cold, but the wood burner and cosy beds kept us very comfortable. A lovely place, and we'd be happy to come back.

Such a beautiful spot. If you want to slow down, breathe, and enjoy being surrounded by nature, this is the place.

We loved the peace here, and there are no roosters to wake you, so sleeping in is easy. The beds are comfortable, and the owners' welcoming backyard has a big garden and chicken coop to look out on. The holiday home is roomy, with its own terrace and driveway, so everyone has space. Now we're jealous of that lovely wood stove!

The hosts were really friendly, and the log cabin had all the basics covered, from a comfortable bed to a good shower. Everything was spotless. It's wonderfully quiet, yet both nature and the town are an easy walk away from the edge of Valkenswaard. A lovely place to stay.
