Dinner turned out surprisingly good, so that earns an extra star. The hotel itself feels overrated for a three-star place. The shiny wall covering makes it look like a brothel, and the shower in the pictures is dirty and seems to be little more than a hose. There are stains on the floor, checkout is at 11, and there’s no elevator.

On our yearly trip to Venray, we've stayed here four or five times and wouldn't search elsewhere for somewhere to stay. The rooms are clean and fresh, the owner and staff are very pleasant, and there's a nice bar for a relaxing drink when you get back in the evening. By

The room was clean and the service was okay. The location is ideal, close to downtown and a public bus stop. I took off a star because there was no bottle of drinking water in the room and breakfast had no vegetables.

There’s an outdoor spot for smokers, and the single room was clean and cosy, with two beds. Breakfast was great too.

The staff were friendly and really attentive. Breakfast was nice each morning, and the stay was good value.
