Everyone on the team seemed keen to make the evening special. The food and the whole experience were amazing, and we left smiling.

Every course in the six-course menu was superb, with amazing flavors and ingredient combinations. My partner chose the wine pairing, while I had kombucha, which had a very, very low alcohol content. Service was great and the courses came at a good pace. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much.

The meal was so unusual and exquisite that I honestly don't think I've had anything like it. Service was mostly amazing, especially from the Italian woman, who was lovely and passionate. The main host and owner was friendly and glad to have us too. But I did feel we were treated differently from the other customers. I asked twice for a window table and got no response. She gave a reason the table wouldn't be suitable and said ours, against the wall with no view, was better. Then fifteen minutes later a couple was seated there and welcomed back. I used to work in hospitality, and I would've understood if the table had been reserved for a particular reason. It was the way it was handled that left me feeling we didn't deserve the same place, even though we paid as much as, or possibly more than, that regular couple.

They have a vegetarian menu, which I appreciate since it's still often something you have to ask for. The seasonal food was high quality and tasted great, the staff were great, and the whole concept worked well. Prices felt completely fair. I'll come back.
