The mornings were a highlight: each evening they asked when we wanted breakfast, and every spread felt like a birthday treat, with warm rolls, fresh coffee and juice, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, granola, fruit, and more. I stayed three days with two colleagues, and the clean, comfortable beds, linens, towels, and robes made it feel like waking up at home. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, almost like a Harry Potter movie. The bus stop is about a five-minute walk away; bus 5 goes to the city center and Groningen train station, but make sure to take the one going to Harkstede since there are two number 5 buses. I’d happily recommend this place, though perhaps not during Eurosonic, because I want to stay here again! :)

Koba took such good care of us, and I can warmly recommend this B&B. We were four people staying in separate rooms in a lovely old country house. Mine was small and single, but very nice, and having a place to wash my face in the room was much appreciated. Breakfast was varied and made to your choice, with gluten-free options too. There are buses nearby for getting around.

The breakfast was far more than we expected, and the room was spacious and clean with really good beds. The host was very friendly, and the neighborhood felt cosy. It’s a beautiful area close to Groningen, with lots of brochures and shopping nearby. The kitchen has what you need, and the bathroom is clean with warm water 😊

Ger and Kona replied really quickly when I booked just a few days ahead, and they were great hosts. The room is small, but has everything you need. It’s a few kilometres outside Groningen and easy to reach on bus 5 from Central Station. The stop is only a few minutes away, and the bus still runs late in the evening.
