We had a good time once we knew not to expect too much. The place has a really cozy, rustic feel, very basic in a way that suited us. The bar is a lovely spot for a late drink by the fireplace, and there are plenty of tabletop games around. Breakfast at the buffet was disappointing, and dinner was just okay. It’s a run-down hotel, but fine for a night.

The food was good, and we had a good two days at the hotel. It’s well placed for getting around by motorcycle, with indoor storage for the bike. The rooms are very noisy, though, so bring earplugs.
