For my first hostel stay I was pretty nervous, but Tia checked us in and was really helpful with all our questions. Sharing with four other people went smoothly, and they had a great communal spirit that made things easier. The six-person room is on the small side, but we were mainly there to shower and recharge after sightseeing, and it worked for that. There’s an en-suite bathroom, plus two more showers downstairs. It’d be better with privacy curtains on the beds and a way to lock the lockers inside the room. Still, the atmosphere is lovely and the cat is ADORABLE! We enjoyed the experience.

The rooms are a little small and the beds aren’t really made for someone my height, 193 cm, but I knew that when I booked. That’s not what this hostel is about. I loved the inclusive atmosphere, the dinners, drinking games, and partying. They take good care of you, and I had a great time with the people I met. I’ll definitely hang out with them again. Crazy Scarlett, who’s still kicking, is part of the charm. And Tia deserves a special mention and a raise, though she definitely didn’t ask me to write this review.

The TV Room was a great place to unwind after a day out enjoying Amsterdam. Staff were lovely and involved, and when my friend cut her finger, the volunteers were really helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well looked after. There’s no kitchen, which is the one downside, though they do provide free dinner and some kitchen utensils. We had a great time and I’d definitely recommend it.

We felt well looked after throughout our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the staff were lovely. It’s easy to meet other guests, join dinners together, find things to do around Amsterdam, or go out on nights organised by the staff. A really good hostel stay, highly recommend!

The hostel felt friendly and had a nice atmosphere. Rooms, beds, and showers were fine, just what you’d expect at a hostel. The location is good, and bike rentals are nearby. I’d suggest a multi-day transit pass to save some money. Thanks to David, Bea, Camila, Isaac, Safa, Maria, Mia, and Sophia for looking after us! -George
