The beach and shops are only a short walk away, which was fantastic. It’s a really nice, clean studio with everything you need. Adil, the landlord, was very friendly and quick to help whenever I contacted him. And a visit to the Laurel & Hardy pub is a must!

We’ve stayed in Zandvoort before, but this is the place we keep wanting to come back to. Last June, after a happy week in the "Studio" in 2020, we spent a week in the "Apartment". Both are well equipped, and the apartment worked perfectly for two. Its kitchen is compact but has what you need to cook, including lots of utensils and knives, plenty of appliances, a microwave, a two burner ceramic hob, and coffee makers for ground coffee and Senseo. The kitchen and washbasin are separate from the living and sleeping area, and the large shower and toilet each have their own entrance. We only noticed the big supply of towels late in the stay. The Mediterranean style decor is lovely, and the big balcony has a roomy awning. We saw two seagull chicks being raised on the neighboring roof again, just as we had the previous year, and that has us planning to return at the same time next year. The beach is about five minutes away on foot, the town center about three, and the nature reserve inland just a few minutes. Traffic on the small side street can be noticeable during the day, but it didn’t spoil the holiday mood. Bikes can be stored safely in the small, comfortable courtyard. Mehdi and Verginie are warm, friendly, accommodating hosts, and you feel at ease with them right away. Mehdi is a keen amateur cook and is happy to share tips. I won’t say more, or I may have trouble booking next time with all the interest! This wasn’t our first place in Zandvoort, but it’s the one we’ll keep returning to. For a beach bar, try Hippie Fish. For a beach restaurant, Thalassa & Far Out. I’ll skip the photos, there are already plenty 😉

The apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished, and the town center and sea are only a few minutes away on foot. A couple of things to know: the stairs to the first floor are narrow and steep. The shower, sink, and toilet are in the same room as the kitchen, and the toilet has no ventilation.

The hosts were very friendly, and the kitchen was well equipped. The place is clean and well maintained, with modern furnishings and a lovely location. I’d happily stay here again!
