We brought two ensuite rooms together for my best friend's birthday lunch, which gave the occasion a very homey feel. The meal was excellent, with vegan choices, everything prepared really well and introduced nicely.

The old historic building has been fitted with modern rooms, and the area is quiet. Staff were very helpful, the location is convenient, and breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The classic Dutch stairs could be difficult for some people. There are two room options. One is smaller and bright, with lots of windows, but has nowhere to keep luggage off the floor. The other is bigger and has a luggage stand, though it gets less light from windows.

The food was tasty, and the service was the real standout. The owner especially went above and beyond, though it was a quiet night and maybe he had more time. The setting was nice to me, and the cooking was done well in a rustic style. Just don't come expecting Michelin-style plating. Recommended.

Breakfast in the restaurant was absolutely great, and the owner was really friendly and helpful. I stayed overnight and had a wonderful start to the day. Tom felt comfortable and homey, the bed was very good, and the shower was a fancy multi-jet one with steam cabin capabilities. I'd come back.

A quiet, enclosed atmosphere, friendly staff, and very good food made this an excellent place to eat. Definitely worth a visit...
