Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Ter Borch Zwolle

Pillows is a little gem in Zwolle, with outstanding service and attention to detail. The Sunday lunch was amazing, Michelin Star level without all the unnecessary fuss. Such a beautiful boutique hotel and a great experience.

We came back for a second stay and enjoyed it just as much as the first. The room was airy, clean, and pleasantly cool, with a big comfortable bed, and the staff were lovely. Zwolle’s city centre is nice to wander around, with little shops and restaurants. We tried dinner at the restaurant this time and liked it just as much. We almost wished we’d ordered five courses instead of three. The dessert was the best I’ve ever had. We can absolutely recommend it.

The meals left me wanting something else, maybe even a burger afterward. The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is almost perfect, and the rooms are clean, lovely, and stocked with toiletries and other little necessities. The staff were kind and helpful, but a few things slipped through the cracks. Breakfast items we’d ordered were forgotten more than once, and the sauna hadn’t been set up when expected. I found myself waiting around for things because someone had forgotten.

A very nice hotel after its renovation, and the staff are friendly. The gym is really quite small.
