The breakfast was delicious, and the beds were wide and comfortable. The hotel has been renovated recently, with pleasant shared spaces, so we had a really nice stay. There was a small mix-up about parking, but the hotel sorted it out perfectly. Thank you!

We were glad we chose this hotel. The room was simple but tastefully decorated, which you can't take for granted in a small town, and it had a mini fridge and kettle. One tip if you book through the hotel website: don't pay extra for more pillows like we did. Reception told us they're already in the closet.

After a terrible day, I had to pack up and leave in a hurry. The hill on the way here broke one of my suitcase wheels, and I was trying not to cry when I walked in. The receptionist upgraded my room, maybe she could tell I wanted to shut the door and have a cry. She said she'd want the same for herself. I must have looked more of a mess than I realized. We ended up talking about tequila and moonshine at the bar. She was SO cool! I'd recommend the place just for the chance to meet her.

The hotel is just a block from downtown, but away from the cruise ships, so there's no foot traffic by the hotel. Rooms are spacious, and the breakfast buffet was really good. There's no parking lot, though there are plenty of spaces on the street. If you're staying all day, you can use the parking app to keep adding time, which is very convenient.

The price was good, at least outside the busy season, and this hotel made my dream of visiting West Norway come true. Everyone deserves a good bonus: the receptionists, both the women and men, the breakfast staff, room service, and the manager!
