LOVED EVERYTHING! The design was great, and breakfast was delicious. MARTA and MAXI are treasures. They were so kind, helpful, and professional, and really looked after us. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel is right by the water, in a nice location in Ålesund. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the canal and the city viewpoints. My only complaint is that I wish the blackout curtains were better.

After 10 days in Norway, this was by far the best place we stayed. The rooms were clean and beautiful, with sea views, and the setting was beautiful. Breakfast was perfect, with endless choices. MARTA at reception was effortlessly helpful and gave us such a warm welcome.

Watch out for parking here. If you forget to take a ticket from the machine when you park, there's no way to pay retroactively. Nobody on staff explained the procedure to us, and we ended up with a 600kr fine because it was impossible to pay for parking from the previous day.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but our rental room wasn't ready yet and we wanted to explore the city hands free. They generously kept our luggage for the day we arrived, free of charge. I just wanted to recognize that decent courtesy 🙏🏼
