Holmen is also a lovely place to visit when the café is open, and, of course, for dog sledding. In summer, you can mush huskies on wheels too. If you love dogs, this is the place to meet friendly mushing dogs or puppies. We stayed in one of the lodges for our wedding weekend. The room, view, and beds were wonderful, and breakfast was lovely. I only wish we'd had more time to enjoy the room, since the wedding weekend was so busy. Highly recommended, and a great spot for a wedding night!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but went husky sledding and had an incredible time. The trip wasn't too difficult, Jacob was a great guide, and the dogs were friendly and well behaved. We even saw the northern lights at the end. 10/10, would recommend.

We looked into husky lodges carefully because we wanted one with good animal welfare practices. Holmen feels like a real family operation, and their passion shows in the team. The food, accommodation, and husky experience were all fabulous. There were even puppies to cuddle or take for a walk. Heaven.

The husky sled ride through Norway's snowy scenery was a really special experience. The dogs love cuddles and are so friendly, and it was great to see how happy they are, how well they're cared for, and how much they enjoy pulling the sleds. There are over 120 of them. The lodges are gorgeous, the food is good, and all the staff are really friendly. Go and enjoy it, you'll remember it for life.

Dinner and an evening dog sledding outing with Helena turned into one of the best experiences of my life. They were very professional, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was great. Alan was really kind too. Thanks for an unforgettable time!
