Getting around Oslo was easy, even though the hotel sits a little beyond the city center. Trams and trains connect it well to the rest of town. We stayed three days as a group and found the place comfortable and spotless. Breakfast had such a big buffet selection that we wanted to sample everything. A great fit for a group visit.

The area gets quiet for dinner, with only a few restaurants open nearby in the evening. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel, though the menu is limited. It's conveniently close to Skøyen station and bus stops, and the rooms were quiet. Another dependable Scandic stay, with the same good breakfast I've come to expect.

The railway station is close by, including connections to the airport, and there are decent restaurants, pizza places, and a supermarket within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean and cozy, with friendly people. Breakfast was great, though Norwegian hotel breakfasts usually are. The bar was good too, if expensive.

Breakfast had loads of hot and cold choices, and it was excellent. Our room was quiet and very clean, with a balcony facing the courtyard at the back. The walk-in shower had plenty of really hot water. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the train takes only a couple of stops to Oslo center. I'd recommend it and would stay again if I return to Oslo.

We found several shops and restaurants close by, and it only takes a few minutes by tram or train to get into central Oslo. Museum Island is also quick and easy to reach. We were there for a few days with our two small children, and the hotel was very child-friendly. Our room was on the small side but pleasant and reasonably furnished. The breakfast buffet was the standout, with lots to choose from and everything tasting great.
