Best Western Plus City Hotel

The rooms look recently renovated and were very clean. There’s a big TV with BBC, which isn’t available in every Oslo hotel. For the price, it’s a good hotel, though breakfast is very basic and probably fine for a day or two. The elevator wasn’t working, so I think they were still wrapping up the renovation. Working on a laptop in the room wasn’t convenient either: the table is narrow, and the bed is a better spot.

The buffet breakfast had lots of choices and was great. Our room was small but worked well, and the hotel was clean, modern, and nice. It’s also an easy walk to Oslo Central Train Station, so the location was great.

You may hear the tram going by quite often. It isn't especially loud, though, so it probably won't bother you unless you're very sensitive to noise. The location is very central and only a quick walk from the train station. Our room felt fresh, with a nice bed and a good bathroom. Breakfast is served in the Asian restaurant next door. That might sound less appealing, but it was actually quite reasonable for the room price.

Even with a last-minute booking, check-in was ready for us about 20 minutes later. The front desk had already assigned a room and prepared a key card when we arrived. The room was clean and very nice. It was smaller than most hotel rooms, but still plenty of space for a short stay. Breakfast the next morning was good too.
