The top-floor bar has one of the best views in Oslo, and the gym and pool are also worth checking out. I’ve returned several times, including for a 23-night stay, and the staff and housekeeping have been reliably good every time. Breakfast has lots of local choices, the restaurant is consistently solid, and the location is central, near the Royal Palace. They even upgraded me to a suite on my last visit. I’m always glad to come back.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and the hotel is in a good spot. Breakfast had a great range of choices. The rooftop bar was pleasant, though its menu was already limited and several drinks were unavailable. The bigger letdown was housekeeping. Our room wasn’t cleaned on the first full day, so we had to ask reception. Nobody apologized, and they offered fresh towels, tissues and coffee, but not to clean the room. It was cleaned the next day, yet we were left with just one bath towel and a floor mat for two people, with no hand towels. The supplies weren’t properly replenished either, which felt disappointing for the price. We did enjoy our stay, but even a basic ibis or Premier Inn in the UK has better service and cleanliness.

That rooftop bar is a real plus, with views stretching over 180 degrees from the 21st floor. The hotel is comfortable and centrally located, too. But the buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen, with so much choice: muesli, bread, eggs, salads, liver pate and more. The scrambled eggs were especially good, soft and creamy with a nutty taste.

Breakfast was tasty and had plenty to choose from, and the staff were professional and helpful. Check-in did move slowly at busy times, though. The location made getting around on foot easy, close to Oslo Central Station, Karl Johans gate, shops and restaurants. Our room was modern, clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice city view from the higher floors. A convenient, comfortable choice for work or a city visit.

The view from the top floor is the real highlight, with the whole city spread out below. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was amazing as well. I’ve stayed at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel (Fornebu) before, but this Oslo location is easily my favorite. Highly recommended!
