We loved sitting out on the terrace, with the river and snow-covered mountains in view from the sofa, chairs, and fire pit. The little house at Flåm Retreat had a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and just the right heating. It managed to offer more than I’d expect from a much bigger place. The owners live nearby and were discreet but helpful, and we could charge our EV there. 😊

The hosts were friendly, quick to help, and easy to reach, and we were glad to have a charging station for our rental EV. The setting beside the river was lovely, and we could walk into town for some of our excursions. Our place was comfortable and cozy, with everything we needed and a nice, elegant feel. I wish we’d had more time at Flam Retreat.

With the sliding doors open, we could hear the river right outside, which was wonderful. The little house was just the right size for our family, with a beautiful view of the mountains and water. We enjoyed the heated bathroom floor and found the bikes very useful. We were traveling without a car, and the walk from town was pleasant. We had such a great time at Flam retreat and would happily recommend it.

Leonardo & Tora did everything they could to make our night comfortable. They had bikes available for us and our child, and we really enjoyed exploring the beautiful area. We were a couple traveling with our 2 years old child, and loved the peaceful view. Thank you very much!

Waking up to the mountain and river scenery was unforgettable. The cabin was thoughtfully laid out and cozy, and our host was so welcoming and helpful. Flåm Retreat felt truly magical. Highly recommend!
