Prices are more than reasonable for Norway, and parking is included. There are bunk rooms, twin rooms, and other options. I've stayed in hostels around the world, and this one feels special despite being basic. It's warm inside and has a homey atmosphere. The kitchen and other facilities are very well equipped, and coffee and tea are free. Definitely the best value for the price. Recommended for everyone.

Coffee or tea is free in the community building, where you can sit at the piano or do some painting. The atmosphere is lovely, with beautiful views of the port and mountains. Our host was very nice and helpful.

We loved our stay here, one of our favorites from our Lofoten visit. The old fish huts have been turned into cozy apartments with everything you need, and the host, Yngvar, is one of the nicest people you'll meet. What a great find!

The hut was cute, and it could have been a great stay if it had been cleaned and looked after. It hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. Luckily, there were clean sheets left in the kitchen, so we could clean one room with two bunk beds and make the beds ourselves. The bed was in terrible shape and broke in the middle after one night's sleep. Only one of the hut's three heaters worked. The kitchen was cold because two windows wouldn't close all the way. On our second night, new guests tried the kitchen and another heater, then decided to leave too. The shower drain was also very slow. After someone showered, it took about half an hour for the standing water to go down.

This hostel is right by the harbor in old rorbuer fishing huts built in the 1890s. The host has a good sense of humor and is fun and easy to talk to.
