Villa Ballstad

The living areas and dining room are great for relaxing, and the villa is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, though it would be nice to have coffee included, even just a coffee maker with coffee, powdered creamer, and sugar. It's fully self-service, so keep an eye on your email and check your spam or junk folder on arrival day. Before check-in time, they'll send the important details, like the door entry code and Wi-Fi password. There are only two bathrooms for the whole place. The upstairs bathroom also has a sauna, but if you use it, that bathroom is tied up for the whole time.

The house is close to the seaside, with a scenic view of the mountains and the city of Ballstad. There's a nice terrace and small garden, plus a spacious living room and well-equipped kitchen for everyone to use. It never felt too crowded. A sweet guesthouse with an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are nice but very basic, and the bathrooms are shared.

I ended up at Villa Ballstad by accident after severe weather and 3 avalanches closed the road to my original guesthouse in Reine. I spent two nights in Ballstad and had a wonderful stay. The view from the guesthouse is amazing, and Ballstad itself is scenic. The house is beautiful, with a big living room and kitchen, comfortable beds, and really good service.

The view from the living room and woodendeck terrace was amazing. The room wasn't big, but there was enough space to feel comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the kitchen well equipped. It's not far from E10 road, and paying by cash was no problem. Definitely worth staying here. I'll be back for sure.
