The location is excellent, right by the water with a good view of Bergen, and just a short walk from town's restaurants, shops, and bars. The staff were very pleasant, and breakfast had a great buffet selection. The rooms were the letdown. The walls were pretty banged up, and hygiene seemed questionable: one duvet and pillow had hair all over them. The pillows were unusable for me, one gigantic and one tiny, and the mattress needs replacing because you can feel the hollow spots. I did appreciate the Rituals products in the bathroom. It's a nice hotel for 1-2 nights at most if you plan to be outside most of the time, since there aren't other amenities.

The balcony had amazing views, and the hotel is very central. We stayed just one night and had a great experience. The room was quite a bit smaller than the picture, but they accommodated both my request for a tub and for a sea view, which made up for it. The room wasn't big, but the bathroom was more than spacious enough, and the high ceiling kept it from feeling cramped. The restaurant food was good, and breakfast was excellent, with all the usual options plus some extras and local delicacies.

We stopped here for a night in central Bergen before flying home after our cruise. The breakfast was stunning, and the reception staff were helpful. It's close to the flybussen bus stop, and these are the views from the restaurant 🤩

What a great time we had at this hotel. It's right in the heart of Bergen Wharf Area, with loads of restaurants, grocery stores, and museums all within walking distance. The hotel recommends a parking garage five minutes away that offers discounted rates for guests. The rooms are great, the shower is excellent, and the staff are very courteous. Breakfast in the morning is a lavish spread, with different breads, cereals, fruits, coffee, eggs, and non-vegetarian options. We loved having it by the window, with a panoramic view of the Norwegian houses, Harbour, and mountains. And don't miss the funicular mountain train a few blocks away for a Birdseye view of the city.

We were glad to stay here for the first leg of our honeymoon. The breakfast was great, and the view was spectacular. The rooms are a little small, but there's not much reason to stay in them when the hotel is in such a perfect spot, away from the big crowds on the other side of the harbor. Best place to be in Bergen. I'd recommend it and come back.
