The valley view is great, and the hotel has a bar and sauna as well as breakfast and dinner. Rooms are standard. The Presidential Suite spans two floors and has an amazing balcony, though there’s no refrigerator. Large tourist groups often stay here, usually more mature ones.

We only stayed one night in a motel room. Guests get a discount on dinner, and the buffet was pretty good, with a nice range of dishes. The room was standard, but the shower wall didn’t keep water in, so we put towels down to stop the bathroom flooding. There weren’t any towels in the room, so we had to ask for them. It was really windy outside, and you could hear it indoors.

The receptionist was so kind, even offering to let us see the room before deciding. I’m grateful she answered my call at 23:30 and found us a last minute room during an emergency. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, and both the room and toilet were clean. Unfortunately, the only room available was an odd, old one farther from the hotel, with shared bathroom facilities and very old, unattractive furniture. I don’t think that room was worth the price, and I wouldn’t have paid that much if it hadn’t been an emergency. I’m sure the rest of the hotel is more updated and nicer. Thanks again for finding us a room so late.

There was a rich choice of food at the hotel buffet dinner. One thing to know if you’re staying in the pet friendly motel behind the hotel: during low season, at least in summer, you still check in at the hotel. Everything else was excellent.

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was okay. Our room was quiet, clean, and roomy enough for two, with a beautiful view.
