We loved the little walk to the glacial stream, especially for a cold plunge, and there are lovely walks right nearby. The scenery is gorgeous. Inside, our room was clean, cosy, and felt like home, and breakfast was delicious. Michael and Jane made us feel welcome and had lots of local knowledge. A refreshing stay with a bit of adventure.
Breakfast was amazing, and the owner made us feel welcome right away. Our room was spacious, very clean, and especially cosy. I'd definitely recommend staying more than one night.
I got in late and they didn't mind at all. The owners even brought me newspaper to dry my damp boots, and let me take breakfast sandwiches along, DNT-hut style. I sat in the front yard's seating area for a while, looking out at the mountains. Quite nice.
The views are breathtaking, and I couldn't have asked for more during my stay at The Adventure Hotel in Eidfjord. It's run by the owners of Best Adventures AS. I'd highly recommend it when you're in the area.
We took the bus up to Vøringfossen, spent time looking at the waterfalls, then headed into the hardangervidda nationalpark, as far as Vivelid. Michael looked after Sebastian and me very well. The rooms were clean and breakfast was yum. We'd warmly recommend the hotel.
